The long term vision of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic determines a starting conceptual document, the direction and priorities to keep the ability to efficiently apply the defence policy of the Czech Republic within future 20 years. Competent and motivated military managers will represent the most valuable part of the Czech Republic Army in the future. Demands concerning their university education and training, professional and personality qualities will raise following the oncoming trendin the military field. The profiles of study programmes for military managers' preparation must respect the structure of the Dublin Descriptors in order to reach compatibility of outcomes in the European education system.
