Unit deployment in urbanized area even in buildings is on daily agenda these days. Lots of activities are focused on small units operation and its command and control. Common operational picture is the key enabler in decision making process of a commander of these units at a tactical level. The article deals with the results of the project with code name "BUILDING" that was solved in the Czech Armed Forces 2008 to 2011. The project was focused on localization of individuals that are deployed in buildings that are composed of floors and rooms. The first part of the article depicts the design phase of project based on Ubisense localization solution. The second part contains real outputs from implemented application that is capable to design and model the2D and 3D maps of buildings, floors and rooms and is capable of 3D visualization of all individuals at the battlefield. The last part shows possible utilization and limitation in training and real area.
