One of the ways which may strengthen the efficiency in organizations can be found in the integration of environmental awareness into organizational decision making. When organizations consider environmental management implementation into their operationsthe key factor of their decision taking is typically the impact of the mentioned proceeding on the financial efficiency of the organization. The article deals with exploring resources, extent and the nature of economic benefits that stem from the implementation of those environmental measures into commercial organizations. A qualitative research has been carried out, having examined five organizations of various size and specialization, all operating in the Czech Republic.
