THE LATEST FINDINGS IN INTEROPERABILITY OF UNITS FOCUSED ON RECOVERING AND EVACUATION OF DAMAGED EQUIPMENT

The paper is focused on technical support of units operating in peace and field conditions. The author analyzes repairs and the necessary support of maintenance collection point, especially in terms of repaired equipment. Self-recovery and recovery operations and evacuation of immobile vehicles are discussed. For the purpose of recovery management the author presents a methodology of decision-making procedure and its implementation to different sub-tasks. Resources of chosen armies, decision-making process in relation to the use of tools, sets and recovery equipment are evaluated. The results from an international logistic exercise Capable Logistician 2013 were used for a practical illustration. Within the exercise a number of tests and the evacuationvariations with focus on interoperability were carried out.
