LESSONS IDENTIFIED FROM COMPUTED ASSISTED TRAINING OF INFANTRY FIGHTING VEHICLES CREWS
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The article describes experience of The Czech Land Forces with computed assisted training (CAX) of infantry fighting vehicles (IFV) crews. The first part of the article defines and describes IFV crews workspace, in particular, it describes the key differences between the working space of manned and unmanned IFV's turrets (weapon stations). After then, identifies their key competences and requirements for their preparation for military service and additional training. Its second part describes individual types of military simulators, which are available for IFV's training in The Czech Land Forces and compares their advantages and usability. The last part presents individual experiences of crews with CAX training and recommendations for methodology of CAX training. Most of the recommendations are focused on the development of key leader competences (mechanized infantry branch) of officer candidates of the University of Defense. The article is based on wheeled IFV PANDUR II experience and topic is currently actual because there is a new tracked IFVs procurement program.
