Unification of Explosive Charges in Breaching for Different Door Resistance Classes
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper deals with the issue of explosive breaching and selected charges in relation to different door resistance classes. Door resistance class is a well-established international designation for securing entry to a building from thieves or other attackers. The aim of this paper is to compare the current status of explosive breaching in the conditions of the Czech Army and to define the gaps for improvement in this issue. The main contribution of this paper is the proposal of unification of charges to individual doors with different resistance classes. This means that military units in particular can apply and use a universal charge that secures entry to a facility through a given door with a given resistance class. At the same time, care is taken to ensure that the charge contains the smallest amount of explosive so that the assault team is as little threatened as possible by the pressure wave and shrapnel fragmentation. Unification of charges can also become the basis for the creation of modified industrial charges.
