Activities of armed forces are mainly in the landscape which impacts them significantly. Good knowledge of natural environment in the Area of Responsibility is an assumption of a mission success. It is necessary to evaluate the impact of natural environment on given activity. The advanced methods of analysis of main military geographic and hydro-meteorological properties of natural environment are used only particularly in the areas of responsibility. The results of analyses are presented in the Recognised Environmental Picture (REP) as a part of Common Operational Picture via web mapping services. The quality of data sources are evaluatedand considered during REP creation.
