A system aimed at evaluation of geographical and tactical factors is fundamental for the proper route planning of the movement of military and civilian vehicles. The movement of the vehicles or units in the field is affected by many parameters, and the determination of their mutual impact is not a simple matter. For the creation of such a system, it is necessary to consider the use of the methods for the collection of new data, or select existing data relevant to the thematic focus, build the correct criteria for Cross-Country Movement and the algorithms for the calculation of the coefficient of the deceleration and to propose the appropriate environment for calculation of optimal routes. The optimization of the routes can be seen from different pointsof view, mostly as a search for the shortest route, but also the fastest, safest and most economic routes.
