Structural Damage Diagnostics on Cement Composites after Blast Load
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The article deals with the comparison of different detection methods suitable for reinforced concrete structures. The main request for the detection method is the reliability of finding cracks formed in the concrete, which is expected to breach before the reinforcement material such steel, plastic, or glass. This breach occurs due to significantly lower concrete tensile strength in comparison with the concrete compressive strength. This negative feature is eliminated by using tensile reinforcement to capture those tensile forces. The cracks do not always mean the reduction of bearing capacity of the structure as a whole; however, they indicate an exceeding of allowable stress for which the structure was designed. Great risk in terms of protection of persons inside the protective structure represents a degree of distortion of the structure in which there is a loss of an under-pressure function or a formation of secondary fragments.
