The paper analyzes the Airbus types of aircraft from A318 to A321 in terms of the possibilities of long-distance passenger and freight transport. The differences between the aircraft carriers and the airlines of Czech Airlines, as well as the basic tactical and operational specifications, the time and space factors related to passenger transport, supplies and freight costs of Airbus aircraft are listed depending on the nature of the transport. At the end of the article, the basic technical data of the A319CJ and the need to replace the obsolete Tu-154M aircraft.
