The Injurious Effects of Freely Transported Objects on a Crew in Military Vehicles during Traffic Acidents
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
From a crew safety point of view, requirements to battle and special military vehicles are mainly imposed on ballistic protection. This is especially the ability to resist various types of ammunition and resist mines and IED. Military vehicles perform objectives other than combat tasks that can be described as normal movement on long distances. Unfortunately, even military vehicles do not avoid regular traffic accidents that damage the vehicle and injure the crew. Vehicles that are primarily designed to carry out combat activities are not optimally designed in terms of internal ergonomics for safety in traffic accidents. Characteristic of this type of vehicles is that the crew space is used for transportation of other all-important equipment. This material may cause serious injuries or death in the event of an accident and interactions with crew members.
