the present article outlines the possibilities of using the traffic data obtained from monitoring the available information from Vehicle Systems of Modern Army of the Czech Republic. The operation and maintenance system of ACR fleethas a space for improvements, which is sought out by the current analysis and following proposals. All the following proposals are representing part of a complex system solution, which involves current trends of modern NATO armies as is Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+), Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) or Integrated vehicle health management (IVHM) systems. The KBVP Pandur II CZ is the one type of vehicle in the ACR vehicle fleet thathas the best potential for the maximum and effective use of the available information. However, it does not currently fully exploit its information potential for the vehicle availability prediction system yet. Naturally, all current fleet vehicles such as Iveco LMV, T-72M4 CZ, T810, etc., including referential vehicles, especially the Škoda (VW group) vehicles and buses were analyzed by the authors. The aim was to propose and develop a progressive prediction system for the operation and maintenance of the army fleet, which will also allow for a better quality of life cycle management (LCC).
