Contemporary endeavour of the geographical service of the Czech Armed Forces lies in forming of a viable data processing system which can be utilized also within NATO structure. The research is based on a requirement of protection of national borders and own territory to face nowadays problems with uncontrolled migration and global security threads. Geospatial branch might find the answers in flexible collection of changes in the terrain and intensified international collaboration. Various progressive methods is currently being under development and testing in the course of survey campaign in the military training areas of the Czech Republic. Terrain vehicle GETOS is a perfect example of modern geographical compact mobile set deployable for such tasks. This can be considered as one of provided capabilities by a nation to NATO, similarly as a system of Multinational Geospatial Support Group. Final issue to solve is to strengthen collaboration in acquisition and provision of data. The utmost importance is given to reduce redundancies by finding optimal real-time evaluation of changes in terrain and efficient data production.
