Utilization of Perspective Materials for Negotiation of Watercourses
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This paper is solved within the scope of engineer support - trafficability. The trafficability consist of different parts - trafficability of towns, forests, waters etc. In this paper the authors focused only on one the area - trafficability of watercourses - respectively the banks. The aim of this work is to evaluate the using of perspective materials during overcoming of watercourses. If the vehicles get out of the water - river, the banks are wet and slippery, so it enables the following vehicles to keep on movement. They mire and close the others in the water. So the whole convoy has to stop and it is necessary to do the rescue works. This is very time and human consuming procedure. That is why the authors decided to perform measurements using the plastic mats. The chosen bank was evaluated to overcome without and with the mats. Although the cars were not able to overcome after few passes without mats, they could negotiate the river with the mats. It was found out that these materials could help with overcoming these obstacles. Other measurements with different types of vehicles and perspective materials will be done. But this first one shows us that it is possible to use mats for these purposes. And all this makes it possible to improve the ability of negotiation obstacles and thus better mobility of the troops.
