The degradation process of technical elements on vehicles and modeling methods
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Vehicles are widely used in many areas of life. In the working process, its parts always degrade under the impact of working conditions and the environment. This is a compli-cated process due to the complexity of the parts, systems used on the vehicles. However, the above process can be studied through typical single processes of manufacturing materials (metals, plastics, rubber, polymers, etc.), and some important elements, greatly affect vehicle performance (e.g., lubricants, batteries, electronic components, etc.). Understanding the nature of the degradation processes (phenomena, occurring mechanisms ...) helps to find out solutions to overcome their limitation. Researching the failure mechanisms and phenomena on mathematical models is a research method with many advantages and low research cost. This paper presents a brief review of the degradation processes occurring on vehicles, and the models used to describe these processes. From that point out the content that needs further research in area “Mathematical modeling degradation process”.
