The article deals with the use of a 3D printer for printing long guns recoil pads. The ergonomics of the recoil pad for long guns is one of the most important parts, as the correct fit of the gun to the shoulder has a major impact on the accuracy and comfort of shooting. For this reason, it is very important that each shooter (soldier) has the option to have his specific recoil pad that ergonomically suits him. Another essential parameter is the material of which the recoil pad itself is made, since the material fundamentally affects the speed and accuracy of the first shot. In this respect, it is important that the recoil pad does not rub against the shooter's clothing. This paper seeks to explore the possibility of using a 3D printer to print an individual ergonomic recoil pad that would guarantee an improvement in the accuracy and speed of the shooting, as it has a major impact in combat conditions.
