In this research report work there are specified both theoretical and practical approaches and applications designated to the breakthrough time finding concerning non-permeable (non-porous) and permeable (porous) barrier materials used to providing individual protection within Serbian Armed Forces with the employment of the MIKROTEST, PIEZOTEST, KONDUKTOTEST and SORPTEST methods. In a theoretical part of a research report single methods are elaborated from their usability within testing chemical resistance of considered barrier materials point of view. In an experimental part there are described working procedures concerning all used methods including calibration of sensors and detectors parts employed with single physical methods. Furthermore, there are described working procedures of preliminary sample preparation and preparation of measurement devices. Moreover, there is described used software equipment and working with it. A fundamental part of the work is introducing measurement results and their limited discussion in accordance with F739 and EN 6529 norms.
