First annual networking event for junior scientists . The event was co-organized by the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Charles University, Technology Centre Prague and the Expert Group for Supporting Applicants in ERC Calls.The aim of this outgoing debate meeting was to provide young budding scientists with an informal platform for discussion with ERC and ERC CZ grant investigators and evaluators of these projects. The event was designed to help early career researchers to become more familiar with ERC grants as an opportunity to gain scientific independence and to pursue a long-term research programme.
