The paper focuses on issues of Business Continuity Management (BCM) in the Czech Republic. The topic is becoming important because the discipline and the related BCM processes have the potential to reduce risks arising from the turbulent environment existing in all economic sectors by the identification of risks related to the changing conditions and the correct specification of key processes. The aim of the paper is to identify the level of business continuity ensuring in organizations in the Czech Republic. The level of ensuring is evaluated based on the application of generally accepted BC standards. The results have been obtained through a questionnaire survey and evaluated using the tools of descriptive statistics. One of the conclusions is that Czech organizations do not apply BCM based on standards.
