This article deals with an original view on the Amblers approach to the object-oriented class normalisation from the perspective of conceptual modelling. This idea gives the possibility of using the object-oriented class normalisation rules not only for the design of composition structure of classes but also for the inheritance and inheritance-like structure of classes. This article also proposes a new systemisation of the object-oriented class normalisation and suggests further research. The authors applied their practical experience not only in teaching object-oriented programming at a university but also many years of experience in software development, especially in Smalltalk, C++, Java and C-sharp.
