Promotion of the re-use center through social networks as an element of the circular economy
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In order to keep the planet in a habitable form for future generations, it is important to prevent the generation of unnecessary waste. One of the possibilities is the circular economy, which at the end leads to further utilization of waste. Expected global demand, according to current consumption patterns combined with projected population growth of up to 10 billion by 2050, will reach three times the countrys sustainable production. The principle of circular economy is the circulation of matter, which becomes waste, but does not end with zero value in landfills. On the contrary, they remain in circulation with another value of material or energy use. The objective of the article is to link two studies carried out by the Department of Trade and Finance: a proposal to introduce a re-use center as a means of reducing bulky waste in Prague in the context of circular economy and a study mapping the influence of social networks on consumer behavior, including experience from Germany.
