Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

Most of species found are common West-Palearctic or Palearctic species, known from all territories of the Czech Republic. Five of them (A. claviger, C. pipiens, C. annulata, A. communis and A. vexans) were previously known from Northwest Bohemia (Kramářet al. 1967). A. dorsalis is of local occurrence in this country. It is a species of colder, mainly centralasiatic steppes (GUTSEVICH et al. 1970, MINÁŘ 1976). The occurrence of Mansonia richiardii in the territory of investigation is interesting. This species was collected near the ponds in south Bohemia (KRAMÁŘ 1958), central Bohemia (RETTICH 1973), South Moravia (VAŇHARA * RETTICH 1998), and recently in south Bohemia at Varvažov near Zvíkov by the senior author. Larvae of M. richiardii breathe air from aerial tissues of water plants, which they bore into by a caudal siphon equipped with teeth. This species needs deeper stagnant waters with water plants. Such biotopes are quite rare in the study area.
