Stratiomyidae, In: Barták, M., Vaňhara, J., (eds.) Diptera in an Industially Affected Region (North Bohemia, Bílina and Duchcov Environs) I
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Of the 63 species recorded in the Czech Republic, the 31 taxa ascertained above represent 49 % of the indigenous fauna. Widely distributed saprophages (Actina nitens, Beris chalybata, B. morrisii) chiefly occur in mesophytic woods and members of Sarginaepenetrate in more sunny and dry stands. Beris morrisii appears to prefer highlands and B. vallata the vicinity of springs and marshes. Of the Sarginae Microchrysa cyaneiventris is relatively rare though scattered throughout the territory of the Czech Republic. Chloromyia speciosa is apparently characteristic for the warm and south-oriented slopes of hills (cf. locality 21), with its distribution area in Europe including only central and southern regions. Among the saproxylic species with subcorticolouslarvae, Neopachygaster meromelaena is comparatively rare (known only at Čelákovice in Bohemia and some localities in southern Moravia within the Czech Republic). Hygrophilous species are confined to characteristic breeding sites: marshes,
