The changes in microbial biomass nitrogen, when different rates and forms of N vere applied in a long-term experiment with maize
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The effect of different rates and forms of organic and nitrogen fertilizers on the amount of soil microbial biomass nitrogen was investigated in the long-term field experiment with continues maize. The contents of microbial biomass N fluctuated between 5.2 mg Nkg-1 to 22.7 mg Nkg-1. The highest contents of microbial biomass N were estimated in the variant treated with manure (17.2 mg Nkg-1 to 22.7 mg Nkg-1). A positive influence on the contents of the microbial biomass N came from application of slurry. The contents of microbial biomass N was estimated to be 29 % higher than in the control. In treatments with mineral N fertilisers (AS, UAN), there was a tendency towards a lower contents of microbial biomass, compared with the control. With UAN, the average contents of microbial biomass N reached 83 % of that in the control and with amonium sulphate it was 61 %. Addition of straw caused an increase in the content of microbial biomass N by 36 % compared with UAN treatment.
