Six species of the family Odiniidae have been collected in Podyjí NP (= 75 % of the total Czech fauna). The occurrence of O. ornata and O. xanthocera is reported from Moravia for the first time. The relatively most frequent species was O. maculata foundin five samples, a species included as endangered in the Red list (MÁCA 2005). This species is generally considered relatively rare and anthropointolerant in the territory of the Czech Republic, which confirms the well preserved conditions of the biotopes of Podyjí NP. Of the sampled localities, Fládnická chata (5/04) yielded the greatest number of species (five).
