Social environment can influence individual physiological and reproductive status, affecting the results of reproductive biotechnologies for ex situ conservation programs. The aim of this work was to determine if there is a relationship between individual hierarchical position and testosterone concentration, body and antler size, and seminal traits in pampas deer males allocated in all-male groups. The study was performed in a semi-captive population in Uruguay during the rut. Data was collected in five groups composed by 4 to 7 adult males 2 to7 y old, total = 18 different males, 26 members of groups - 6 males integrated multiple groups among different years along 4 years. Individual success index (SI) was determined based on agonistic interactions, range 0 to 1. In three out of four Groups, testosterone was positively correlated with SI.
