Analysis of Soil Moisture and Temperature Regime by Using Remote Sensing in South Bohemia, Czech Republic
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Agricultural lands which are in the Czech Republic were considerably influenced by collectivization after the WW II. During the uniting of farmlands landscape elements such as baulks, groves and shrubberies were eliminated. Therefore, one of the largest land parcels in Europe can be found in the Czech Republic. Consequently, the landscape has become vulnerable, the ecological stability has been damaged, the susceptibility to water erosion has increased, soil organic matter has been lost, and biodiversity and microclimate were significantly affected. Czech Ministry of Agriculture recently applied a new standard of good agricultural and environmental conditions (GAEC) related to the Cross Compliance. A continuous area of single crop is limited up to 30 ha since January 2020. In this study, changes of soil temperature and moisture regime were examined by using Landsat S OLI (Operational Land Imager) and TIRS (Thermal Infrared Sensor) satellite data after the new GAEC standard applied on land parcels in
