The conference will focus on (1) novel methods for studying soil physical properties, (2) finding the relationships between soil properties and processes, and (3) the use of the properties and the relationships for solving both practical and scientific environmental tasks. The focus will also be on (4) the application of various mathematical models for the interpretation of phenomena taking place in the soil, such as water flow, heat transport, and transport of various substances (nutrients, pollutants, colloids) in soils.
