Problems of abrasive wear resistance of plough shares is possible to solve in a high degree by material selaction. Comparison field tests are significant for determining of wear rate, when shares of known quality and developed shares are tested under identical soli and climatic contidions. In the article there are shown comparison shares and chisels tests welded-on edge and stiffeners from hard metal CDP (Castodur Diamond Plates) with edges without CDP. Weldings are made under determined angle and compared with but weld hard metal.
