This paper deals with the processing of construction and demolition waste. Recycling and utilization of different types of construction waste its very interesting, because due to the ever-growing volume of construction works and the resulting dramatic drawdown in primary raw materials as well as the corresponding negative environmental impacts of the building industry. Construction and demolition waste recycling has a long tradition, which can and should be utilized and developed in the countries of theCentral and Eastern Europe and also in the Czech Republic. This paper describes the issues related to construction and demolition waste recycling, utilization of different types of waste and deals with the technology used in this area of waste economy.
