Economic and Energetic Efficiency of Production of Soya Bean in Polish Conditions

An economic and energetic evaluation of soya bean production technology as well a calculation of economic efficiency and energy indicators of its cultivation were made. The cost of production and their structure were calculated and divided into materialsand raw materials, operation of the machinery and tools, fuel consumption, labour input. The assessment of cumulative energy consumption has been carried out in four streams: in tractors, machinery and spare parts, in direct energy carrier, in materialsand raw materials and human labour. The cumulative energy in individual treatment was analysed. The study shows that the production of soya bean in the assessed agriculture plants were profitable in terms of economy and energy.
