Nowadays, ecological and economic aspects of novel products become an interest since the development of new technology. With biopolymer of nanocellulose utilization, those aspects could be met sufficiently. This study is focused on the application methods of nanocellulose on paper products. Mainly, two types of applications were done, incorporation of nanocellulose into the pulp and application of nanocellulose on the final paper products of flax pulp compared to incorporation of nanocellulose into the mechanical treated and untreated cotton pulp. Overall, after nanocellulose application, most of the mechanical properties can be enhanced. With the similar mechanical properties of nanocellulose application of spraying and 1-layer coating, application on the final products seems more sufficient for nanocellulose application.
