The research objective is to discover spatio-temporal relationships existing between the distribution of domestic fires and the background environment. The influencing factors studied include building characteristics and various socio-economic attributesof inhabitants. Geographically weighted regression (GWR) is applied to quantify the relationships and explore their variations in space and time. The map collection represents the GWR results for the selected best models: model diagnostics and values ofparameters identified as statistically significant.
