The text is part of a book dedicated to the work of contemporary Czech photographer Alena Kotzmannová, which evaluates the contribution of this outstanding personality. The text fo-cuses on the cycle of the author's photographs from the period around 2017, when Kotzmannová took a unique set of pictures dedicated to the historical memory of Mikulov and the protagonists of his long-defunct public life as part of the Mikulov Art Symposium. Based on archival research, the text reveals the apparently marginal but remarkable connections of the author's photographs.
