Alkaline metals doped Bi - Sr - Ca - Cu - O superconductor
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Since superconductivity in the system Bi - Sr - Ca - Cu - O was discovered, much effort has been applied towards improvement of its superconductig properties. Substitution and doping atoms of other elements are the most common ways to modify properties of the superconducting phase. Additional atoms may create new pinning centres in the sample (for example by creating grains of new non-superconducting phase) and thus improve transport properties. They may also influence concentration of charge carriers either by changing oxidation state of copper or by changing lattice parameters in case of great difference in sizes of the substituted and the substituting atom. They may as well create with other system components some phase with low melting point whicheases transport and growth of the superconducting phase due to partial melting. In system Bi - Sr - Ca - Cu - O three superconducting phases of general formula Bi2Sr2Can-1CunO2n+4 were identified. They differ in value of n and Tc (with in
