Behaviour of liquid mixture benzene + hexane
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Benzene belongs to dangerous carcinogens, therefore its amount in mixtures and atmosphere should be very carefully monitored and keep as low as possible. The separation and purification of liquid mixtures, especially those containing benzene, are important in many aspects of modern technology. In chemical industry the separation of aromatic hydrocarbon from aliphatic is one of the most significant targets. In this work the separation methods are shortly presented and commented with respect to their environmental impact. For the choice of the separation method the properties of the separated liquid mixture are very important. The properties and possibilities of separation of the mixture benzene + hexane are investigated in this chapter. Surface tensions, densities, viscosities, refractive indices, and excess properties of the binary liquid mixture benzene + hexane for the whole concentration range are compiled. The sorption data for the mixture benzene + hexane in two membranes, low den
