The introductory part explains the concepts of Internet of things and Industry 4.0, followed by themes: computers for information and industrial networks, communication in industrial and information networks, internal computer buses, buses for industrial automated systems, industrial Ethernet, current loop, communication protocols and standards, multifunctional data acquisition systems, data acquisition and processing software.
