on-li archive Paralel chronologies. Collection of Exhibitions in Eastern Europe 1950–1989 The introductory essay clearly interprets the development of exhibition strategies in Czech art after 1950. It is based on long-term research into the history of exhibitions at the Research Center Academy of Fine Arts and for the first time makes some materials available to a foreign audience. The essay is complemented by 13 shorter case studies on selected key exhibitions 1950-1989, which are supplemented by rich visual material.
