Dialogical acting with the inner partner is an original research practice, in which the researcher engages their whole person as they enter an empty space with their body and voice. They try to find their „inner partner“, i.e. to externalize their „inner speech“, embody and discuss the topics of their interest. To do this, in this workshop, participants-researchers were invited to act and reflect in the condition of „public solitude“, i.e. in the presence and the supportive attention of their colleagues, but as if they were on their own. After each trial (limited to ca. 3 minutes), each participant was given an observative and non-judgemental comment-feedback from us, the two assistents (Malaníková and Novák).The workshop was experimental and experiential and gave insight into one way to practice the „embodied learning“ process. // Dialogical Self Conference, June 6, 2024, University of Tallin, Republic of Estonia
