In the contribution, the tension and compression tests of the samle from the material described by the strain energy function of the third order, giving the constitutive relations of the second order based on the Green-Lagrange strain tensor and the logarithmic strain tensor. It was shown that these material models give the satisfactory results only for infinitesimal deformations.
