Information about the activities and infrastructure of NPI has already been presented in Nuclear Physics News (NPN). The NPI laboratory portrait was published in 2010. Subsequently, two articles focused on narrower issues of NPI activities also appeared. Namely, a contribution to neutron activation analysis in NPI in the NPN section Impact and Applications and a contribution to the use of nuclear analytical methods for material analysis in the section Facilities and Methods. The current article thus deals mainly with new acquisitions and installations. However, for the sake of completeness, brief information about the modernization and upgrade of the devices and installations already described in the previous NPI contributions is also given. Current directions of research activities are illustrated.
