The chapter is focused on intergenerational and intragenerational relations in extended family in the later stages of life course. It describes how the elderly parents and adult children confirm their belonging and maintain the limits between them withinmeeting and exchange of support. It deals also with the situation of need of help on the part of the eldest members of the family of origin that activates their adult offsprings to more intensive get-togetherness and provided assistance.
