L'article décrit le projet de mémoire de th?se dans sa phase de recherche sur le terrain. Dans la théorie, il se penche sur la connexion entre l'exclusion sociale et le sans-abrisme, le besoin en logement et deux mod?les de logement - ? Housing ready ?(Pr?t pour un logement)et ? Housing First ?(Le logement sans aucune condition préalable) sont élaborés. La question principale de la recherche sur le rôle des diverses formes de logements subventionnés dans la vie des sans-domicile fixe consommateurs de drogue est posée. L'approche participative est admise et reconnue comme étant un outil important dans le choix de la méthodologie, en particulier pour effectuer des recherches sur le terrain. La partie méthodologique se concentre sur les avis multiples deschercheurs dans le domaine.

The article describes the dissertation thesis project in the phase of the field research. In the theory it looks into connection between social exclusion and homelessness, housing need and two housing models - ?Housing ready? and ?Housing First? are elaborated. The central research question about the role of various forms of supported housing in the life of homeless drug users, is stated. When choosing methodology, participatory approach is seen and reflected as an important tool, especially when conducting field research. The methodological part in a detail focuses on the multiple positions of the researcher in the field.
