Das Ziel dieser Monografie ist die Untersuchung der emotionalen Ausdruckweise im postmodernen Drama. Anhand des Korpus wird analysiert, welche emotionalen Konstellationen, Einstellungen und Haltungen in zeitgenössischen Dramentexten zum Ausdruck gebrachtwerden. Untersucht werden dabei auch die postmodernen Vertextungs- und Kommunikationsstrategien, die dargestellten Inhalte und die verwendeten sprachlichen Mittel. Der Schwerpunkt wird vor allem auf die ausgewählten sprachlichen Elemente in Bezug auf die kontextuellen Manifestationen der Emotionen in der Dramensprache gelegt. Zugleich wird dargestellt, wie sich die unterschiedlichen kommunikativen Strategien an den dramatischen Versprachlichungen der zahlreichen emotionalen Konstellationen beteiligen.

This book deals with language means, which are used to express emotionality in current drama. It was characterized with the help of theoretical basis and secondary literature as a postmodern drama, quasi as the newest drama text form. A corpus of four dramas was set up for this purpose. The book deals with the text form structure of the drama plays described in the introductory chapters. The main part of this book represents the analysis of particular language levels, on which the expression of emotiontakes part. The problematic of situation expression of chosen emotional constellation according to the context necessity is also being discussed, concretely anger, fear, wrath, constraint, contempt, trust and sorrow. These chosen emotions are analyzed not only linguistically but also from the point of view of interference and cultural condition.
