Science Area Conference Chair. The topics of the e-conference are based on the experiences and research activities of the research groups but also on the applications of research results into practice. We also extended the area of interest with actual topics from Science, Engineering and Risk Management. The topics of interest include, but are not limited, the following ones: science education and training, curricular process in science, data mining in research, knowledge discovery of scientific data, optimization of research processes, modeling of scientific and research data, cognitive models in science, statistical modeling in science, application of assessment tools in science education. There is a necessity for optimization and improvement in thefields listed above nowadays. Because of the progress in technologies and organization, there is a huge space for new methods and research in risk assessment, process management, education or human resources organization.
