Die vorliegende Monographie setzte sich zum Ziel, das Wirkungsausmaß der Optimierung des Textes festzustellen. Das zentrale Instrument ist die auf der praktischen Umsetzung des sog. Hamburger Verständlichkeitskonzeptes beruhende Textoptimierung. Des Weiteren wird der Schwierigkeitsgrad des Textes berücksichtigt, dessen Bestimmung auf der Umsetzung des Musters LIX von C. H. Björnson basierte, denn er die Länge und Anzahl der Wörter in Betracht zieht. In der Monographie wurden für den Vergleich von Maß und Qualität des Verstehens von originällen und optimalisierten Texten alle Textphasen in Form von Propositionen beschrieben. Diese wurden mit dem Spektrum der Propositionen konfrontiert, die von den untersuchten Rezipienten aufgezeichnet wurden. V práci jsou pro porovnání míry a kvality porozumění originálních a optimalizovaných textů popsány všechny textové báze formou propozic a tyto konfrontovány se sítí propozic zaznamenanou zkoumanými recipienty.

The aim of the publication was to determine the influence of text optimization on the readability of a text. The main tool used in the research was the optimization of a text based on the practical implementation of the ?Hamburg concept? of readability.The research also took account of the difficulty of the text; this was determined by applying Björnson´s LIX index, which depends on the length and number of words and clauses in a text. In order to compare the degree and quality of understanding of original texts and their optimized versions, the publication describes all textual bases in the form of propositions; these are then compared with the network of propositions perceived by the recipients under investigation.
