Orthodox church painting in the area of the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth is an important part of the heritage of the Ukrainian and Belarusian cultures. This book presents selected issues related to the development of the Eastern Church art in the territories of Central Europe. It does not present the whole subject, as we are still facing further challenges and new research directions. This book, expanded and changed to a considerable extent, refers to the development of the Central Europe Orthodox church art - the entire legacy of the Eastern Church. It aims to familiarize the reader with the subject and encourage scientific research, as it happened in Poland many years ago, after the publication of the first issue.
