During the last 100 years rivers in Czech Republic were intensively regulated. Some sources described that river channels are regulated through 80 % of courses. The Odra River in the studied locality (river km 25.0 - 52.0) is typically meandering river.River floodplain close to the study reach of river channel was intensively affected by man, especially by construction of fish ponds and reservoirs.
