GEOGEBRA TOOLS IN CREATING MATERIALS FOR TEACHING MONGE PROJECTION
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Teaching Constructional geometry keeps using various didactical aids a student can touch, which leads to development of his or her geometrical imagination and strengthens understanding of a given topic. Contemporary situation about the COVID-19 pandemic forced to change the mean of teaching – from full-time study to distance (online) learning study, thus these aids had to be transformed from real-world tools to digital tools. Creating online illustrative didactical aids for teaching Monge projection is too difficult for many teachers, both in time and technical conditions. For this purpose, we use GeoGebra software. GeoGebra is a dynamic mathematics software for all levels of education that brings together geometry, algebra, spreadsheets, graphing, statistics and calculus in one easyto-use package. The advantage is that GeoGebra community includes milions of users, which leads to possibility to share ideas and tips for creating materials very easily. The aim of this article thus is to introduce the principle of tools in GeoGebra, which can mean variability for teachers in creating assignments of task in constructional geometry, when various sets of assignments can be created with a few clicks. Tool constructions are based on a simple algorithm rule - if it is possible to create an 'algorithm' from a construction, it is possible to create a tool. The process of creation is described in paper in details, thus this it can be used for defining own tools for modification of created ones.We also introduce created materials, which link 2D and 3D GeoGebra in teaching Monge projection, and using GeoGebra tools while creating these materials.
