Der dritte Teil der Trilogie TONKÜNSTLER ZWISCHEN OSTRAU UND WIEN' kann als 'zwei Monographien in einem band' bezeichnet werden. Sie handeln von zwei Opernsängerinnen, die ihrerseits zu bedeutenden Persönlichkeiten der heimischen Szene zählten. Beide Künstlerinnen nutzten die Gelegenheit zur Verbreitung tschechischer Musik im Ausland. Die Beide Künstlerinnen zählten zu Lieblingssängerinnen bedeutender Komponisten: Lída Mašková-Kublová (1890-1976) von Leoš Janáček, Eva Hadrabová-Nedbalová (1902-1973) von Richard Strauss. Beide Lebensdarstellungen basieren auf einer detaillierten Erschließung ihrer persönlichen und beruflichen Lebenswege. Die Bearbeitung erfolgt im Wesentlichen chronologisch unter Einbezug einiger thematischer Ausführungen. Der Text dokumentiert das künstlerisches Reifen der Künstlerinnen, ihre Angeignung des Repertoires, Rezensionen der Musikkritik sowie ausgewählte Korrespondenzen. Außerdem wird ihre Zusammenarbeit mit dem Rundfunk und der Grammophonindustrie skizziert. Der deutsch-tschechische Paralleltext bietet sich an, Leser in den Sprachräumen der beiden Künstlerinnen im gleichen Maße anzusprechen.

The third part of the trilogy MUSIC ARTISTS BETWEEN OSTRAVA AND VIENNA can be desribed as 'two monographs in one volume'. They deal with two female opera singers who were definitely among the prominent personalities of not only the domestic scene, in their time but they also took the opportunity to help to promote Czech music abroad. Both female opera singers were among the favourites of leading composers: Lída Mašková-Kublová (1890-1976) is connected with Leoš Janáček, and Eva Hadrabová-Nedbalová (1902-1973) with Richard Strauss. Both monographic profiles provide detailed information about their lives, both in terms of their personal lives and their careers. The profiles are based on the principle of chronology and subsequent thematic stops. The text documents how they matured artistically, looks at their repertoires, and provides music critics´opinions and numerous examples from correspondence, as well as an outline of their work in the radio and gramophone industry. The Czech-German parallel text has the potential to addres readers equally in the language areas where both singers worked.
